Island AirAdds Flights to the Brac

Island Air has put on an added flight servicebetween Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac with the introduction ofa 19-seater Jetstream aircraft.

Flights on this newly leased plane beganSaturday, 15 December.

"The new aircraft has been named the'Brac Express' and with its plush leather interior and a bathroomit should make everybody feel very comfortable and additionallythe plane is extremely fast with only a flight time of twentyminutes between the islands," said Operations Manager, MrMarcus Cumber.

"Island Air already has four flightsdaily to and from Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac, but with theseadditional flights it will mean four direct flights to CaymanBrac instead of stopping off in Little Cayman," he added.

The additional aircraft means that 114 seatsare now available for travel between the islands daily.

The Brac Express has a schedule of 10:00am and 3:30 pm departure from Grand Cayman and 10:45 and 4:15departure from Cayman Brac.
Mr Cumber said a third flight would be added once there is a demand.
