It's Hard tobelieve we are sinking so fast

Dear Sir,

I must respond to the brilliant "Takea Look at Yourselves Ladies and Gentlemen" article writtenby Mr. Michael L. Alberga and printed on your Web Page on December16, 2001.

Mr. Michael Alberga has expressed so humourously, yet truthfully, the unbelievable and deplorable State of Affairsof "The Good Ship Cayman" (an often used and almostworn-out phrase), that it behoves one and all to read, re-read,and re-read this article until the Truth and Reality of this Roadwe are on have penetrated our brains, or our minds.

Thank you Michael for caring enough to puttogether this eye opening, cage-rattling article.

I love my homeland dearly and find it hardto believe that we are sinking so fast in the quicksand quagmirethat is being 'hung around our necks' daily by those who havesadly been able to skyrocket their way into the top echelons ofour Government. To quote the lady named Ann on the TelevisionShow 'Weakest Link'...."Some Village is looking for theirmissing Witless Idiots" and they seem to have gotten themselveselected to the L.A.

I am also saddened to find that a coupleof Gentlemen that I have respected and loved for many years asmy fellow countrymen, and friends, are now a part of the UDP.We will shortly find ourselves again as "The Islands TimeForgot", and perhaps that will be the only saving grace outof all this madness. If it will remove the feverish frenzy ofGreed and the immorality that this Greed was festering, then perhapsthat will be "salve for our wounds".
