It's Christmas Again with Texaco and Heaven 97 FM
Three residents received some extra shopping money just in time for Christmas when they won the Heaven 97 FM radio quiz contest sponsored by Texaco.
Participants earned points by calling the radio station with correct answers to bible and general knowledge questions.
At least 15 points were needed to qualify for the cash prizes in the contest called "It's Christmas Again" that ran from 2 November through 18 December.
Shown above are Heaven 97's Brother Bill Wilson presenting cheques to the first place winner Karaine Edwards (left) and the second place finisher Sonia Stull.
Not pictured is third place finisher Janette Watler. Edwards won $250, while Stull received $150 and Watler $100.
