NAS:
As promised, I have lined up some really nice picks for this week
as last minute stocking stuffers.
NAS "God's Son" album is sure to set many fires a blazing
this season.
The MC from Queens' rap album will sure be a hit with your friends.
The lead single "Made You Look" will sure to add steam
to holiday entertainment.
AALIYAH:
Gone but not forgotten.
Aaliyah's, short and sudden career may have ended tragically,
but her music is still alive and kicking.
There's a greatest-hits set out just in time for Christmas.
During her seven-year career she had met many milestones and covered
so much ground, that it was almost as if she was cloned and in
more than one place at the same time.
The tribute album "I care 4 U" is a collection which
features music from her previous albums and includes hits such
as "Age Ain't Nothing But A Number", "Back and
Forth" and "One in A Million".
This is a smooth, cool and easy listening tribute album; definitely
a must-buy for all Aaliyah fans.
This is a keeper or you can be nice and wrap it up for a
friend.
PRINCE and the New Power Generation:
Prince Rogers Nelson, has produced for himself a three-disc live
set.
Being the first-ever live recording for Prince, he has incorporated
some old favorites such as "Do Me Baby" and "When
You Were Mine", with some new unreleased tracks "Avalanche"
and Xenophobia".
With the Power Generation fresh back from their 2002 tour, this
new live set will more than likely become a collectors' item.
Don't forget to add one for yourself this is also a keeper.
R.KELLY
Coming up in the new year, R. Kelly will be releasing his latest
album on January 28th, 2003.
Titled "Chocolate Factory" with the first single "Ignition"
is heating up the airwaves sitting comfortably this week at No.11
on the R&B/Hip-Hop.
Despite all of the controversy surrounding R. Kelly, he's still
keeping his head held high.
And lastly, my greatest picks for the 2002 year are: Ashanti,
Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Tim McGraw, The Donnas, Matchbox
20, Fat Joe, Remy Shand, Dave Matthews Band, Pink, Beanie Man,
Damian Marley, Craig David, Jennifer Lopez, Faith Hill, Shania
Twain, & Brandy.
I'll be running off now, but have yourself a Very Merry Christmas.
