Old School vs Modern Day Cricket
Cayman Islands Cricket Association brings the 2002-cricket year to a close on Saturday 14 December with a specially arranged match between John Gray High School players of the 70's versus the 90's.
Returning home just in time from university studies in Barbados to lead the 90's team is Ronald Ebanks. Ronald has the distinction of captaining the first Americas region team to play in the West Indies under 19 tournament this year in Jamaica.
Joining him are other Americas region players Paul Chin who is studying in Hong Kong and home-based Jalon Linton and Omar Bryan.
Would national senior players David and Chris Wight, Stedman Gray and national youth coach Andy Myles able to handle the pace of Troy, swing of Dwight, spin of Omar and Alan or flashing blade of Daniel, Ryan, Ricardo and Omar Willis?
These questions would be answered from 12.30pm. at the Smith Road Oval.
Cricket coach Theo Cuffy said this has been a fantastic year for cricket in the Cayman Islands.
