Will and Sybil Jackson
Remembering 36 years ofhappy wedded bliss

When a man asks a woman to be his wife
To grow with him; to share his life
He feels that he just couldn't love her more.
Yet, as they share their plans and dreams
Through every phase of life it seems
His love for her grows deeper than before.

Then, one day, he'll look into her eyes
And suddenly, he'll realise
Their early years were only just the start
Of a life-time full of dreams to share
Of a rich and lasting love affair
With the one he'll always love with all his heart.

It really seems but yesterday, when we stood
side by side
And heard the parson speak the words that made
us groom and bride
Though thirty plus six years have so
fast flown away
We're just the same old sweethearts as on
our wedding day.

Just what the future has in store, is notfor
us to know
The future is veiled to mortal eyes, and it is better so
But this we know, whatever betides,
we'll face it side by side
We'll never regret those words that made
us groom and bride.

Love makes every day a joy
Every moment a sweet memory.
