The 27th annual Texaco Cross IslandRelay organised by the Hash House Harriers (HHH) has been setfor Sunday, 4th February, with the usual 6:30 a.m. start. TheHash House Harriers would like to encourage all sports clubs andrunners to come out and support this event. Entry forms are availableat all Texaco gas stations and members of HHH and Ann Elliot atthe George Hicks High School. The entry fee is $60 per team.
The Cayman Islands Amateur Athletic Associationwill launch it first district Track and Field meet at the WestBay Primary Playing Field on Thursday, 1st February starting at5:30 p.m. Events are 60 metres; 80 m, 100 m, jump, shot put andone mile walk (open to adults). All schools, clubs are individualsare invited to participate.
CIBC Valentine's Mile
It's time to once again dust off thosesneakers and get ready for the 15th Annual CIBC Valentine's Mile,Sunday, 18th February. This year there will be a new venue - CrystalHarbour as well as a new children's event for scooter enthusiastswho participate in the run.
