Who's Who At Radio Cayman

Roy Bodden

Born on Cayman Brac, Roy spent most of hisfirst 11 years in Jamaica before moving to the USA with his parentsand younger brother in 1948.

After spending 43 years there, he returned home to work in RadioCayman's Sales Department, bringing to the job 27 years' experiencein advertising, another 15 of continuous radio experience, 10in television and over 35 in the performing arts as a vocalist/guitarist.

Over the past nine years, Roy has been part of Radio Cayman'ssales team, as well as the host of many special programmes onthe station. He is also the past recipient of a Certificate andBadge of Honour for his contribution to the Arts in the Caymancommunity.

Roy is a member of the First Baptist Church of Grand Cayman wherehe also serves as a Sunday School Teacher and member of the choir.His is a familiar voice on Radio Cayman and at many civic andchurch-related functions across al three islands.

He is outgoing, pleasant and totally professional, as you willno doubt find out upon contacting him at Radio Cayman for allyour advertising needs. For the past 44 years, he has been marriedto the former Reva Ritch and is the father of two adult children,and the grandfather of six.
