Cayman Islands Amateur Athletic Association will be holding itsthird Development Track & Track Meet on Wednesday, 7th February,starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex. Eventsbeing contested are: 60m, 80m, 200m, 800m, discus, high jump andtriple-jump. All schools, clubs and individuals are invited toparticipate. The Phoenix Athletic Club will conduct its February track andfield/running informational meeting on Thursday, 8th Februaryat 7:00 p.m. at the VIP Lounge at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex.Representatives of Gold's Gym will be present to discuss the useof gym facilities for competition training. Also available willbe articles on training, results of past events, schedules offuture local and international competitions, and information ona wide variety of topics related to track and field - walking,and road running. CIBC Valentine's Mile
It's time once again to dust off those sneakers and get readyfor the 15th Annual CIBC Valentine's Mile, Sunday, 18th February.This year there will be a new venue - Crystal Harbour, as wellas, a children's event for scooter enthusiasts who participatein the run. Cayman Islands Softball Association (CISA) corporate co-ed hasbeen postponed until Monday, February 12th. The Men's and Women'sleague begins on 3rd March. Games will be played at the West BaySoftball field. CISA would like to welcome all new teams and remindcoaches/team captains that 12th February is registration deadlinefor the Women's and Men's Fastball Leagues.
