Trinidad's football to train in Cayman

A Trinidad player has possession of the ball, and Cayman's defender Sylvester Coleman chases.

Trinidad & Tobago National football team will be coming to Cayman for a training camp on Thursday, February 22nd and will stay until the February 27th.

According to sources, Trinidad has agreed to play a practice match, but under closed gates. However, Jeff Webb, president of the Cayman Islands Football Association is said to be negotiating to have an open match.

This will be the first time that Trinidad & Tobago's national football team will played in Cayman since 1994 when they took part in the Shell Cup.

Trinidad and Jamaica are set to face-off in 2002 World Cup qualifier match on Wednesday, February 28th, in Jamaica. Trinidad is 29 and Jamaica is 46 in FIFA world rankings.
