Cayman Grand Harbour appointsnew professional project team

Caribbeus Developments, developers of theprestigious Cayman Grand Harbour project, recently announced theappointment of a new professional project team to aid in the developmentof this exciting venture.

The team comprises four companies at the forefront of Cayman'sbusiness community, namely BCQS Ltd., BCQS Property ManagementLtd., IRG Real Estate Ltd. and Tower Marketing & Publishing.

BCQS Ltd, has been assigned the role of project management consultantfor Cayman Grand Harbour, under the expertise of Martyn Bouldand Neil Purton.

BCQS Property Management Ltd. - a subsidiary of BCQS Ltd. - hasbeen appointed property manager for the project, including therecently completed Shopping Centre, under the leadership of TimHepburn and Mina Dixit.

BCQS, which was founded in 1969, has extensive experience anda reputation for excellence in the construction and managementof commercial and residential property in the Cayman Islands andthroughout the Caribbean.

BCQS Ltd. is also an approved consultant for the British Government'sForeign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), the Caribbean DevelopmentBank (CDB) and for European Union (EU)-funded projects as wellas many prestigious local developments, including the Hyatt, BritanniaGolf Course and the Great House.

IRG Real Estate Ltd., one of Cayman's leading real estate agenciesand a subsidiary of International Relocation Group, is directingthe organisation and sale of the various property phases in GrandHarbour.

IRG sells both in Cayman and internationally through its affiliationwith Knight Frank of the UK and their 200 other offices worldwide.Jeremy Hurst, the company's President, cites the Century YardDevelopment and the Harbour Place Development as just some ofthe other local projects in which IRG is currently playing a leadingrole.

Tower Marketing & Publishing is providing a full service marketingconsultancy service for the development, and has established itselfas an innovative and progressive local company. Managed by Mrs.Lynne Byles, Tower Marketing & Publishing has a notable clientlist including such local companies as Deloitte & Touche,the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority, Grand Old House and CaymanFinancial Review.

Caribbeus Developments' proprietor Mr Mike Bell says he is 'verypleased at the prospect of working together with such a dynamicteam at the start of the new millennium." While the Grand Harbour Shopping Centre has been open for a while,new tenants are continuing to move in and, behind the scenes,extensive preparation has been undertaken and much of the infrastructureis now completed. In fact, as Jeremy Hurst explains, 'the levelof preparation of the substructure for this development is thehighest that we have ever seen in Cayman."

Canal-front lots are now available for purchase and first indicationsof sales are very positive. Additional phases of the development,including The Professional Village' and other residential andcommercial opportunities, are now also underway. Once completed,Cayman Grand Harbour will be the largest development of its kindin Cayman.
