Bishop Strachan official tovisit
A representative of the Bishop StrachanSchool, one of Canada's oldest day and boarding institutions,will be here in Cayman conducting interviews on Sunday January14 at the Comfort Suites. There is also to be a reception in theofficial's honour the following day from 5:30pm - 8:00pm.
According to a release, the Bishop Strachan School was foundedin 1867 by a group of Anglican clergy and laymen who believedthat girls should have an equal opportunity to a first class education.
Today, the release says, both the student and staff populationsreflect a variety of faiths and cultures. The school is locatedin Toronto, Ontario, and offers a "home away from home"atmosphere to some 90 teenaged girls from all across the world.
