Athletics
The 27th annual Texaco Cross Island Relay organised by the HashHouse Harriers (HHH) has been set for Sunday, 4th February, withthe usual 6:30 a.m. start. The Hash House Harriers would liketo encourage all sports clubs and runners to come out and supportthis event. Entry formf are available at all Texaco gas stationsand members of HHH and Ann Elliot at the George Hicks High School.The entry fee is $60 per team.

The Cayman Islands Amateur Athletics Associationwill be holding its first Development Track and Field meet ofthe season on Thursday, 25th January, starting at 5:45 p.m. atthe Truman Bodden Sports Complex. Events are 60 metres; 100 m,400 m, 1500, long jump and shot put. All schools, clubs are individualsare invited to compete.

Cayman Islands Amateur Athletic Association'sfinal installment of the Compass Fun Run Series will be this Saturday,27th January. Race time is 8:00 a.m. The two-mile loop startsat the John Gray High School and ends on Denham Thompson Way,Walkers Road. Anyone wishing to register can do so on race daysfrom 7:15 a.m. or they may contact Kenrick Williams at 914-3456or 945-7007 for more information.

Foster's Group National Football match fixtures All weeknightgames will be at the East End playing field. Game time is 7:30p.m.

Softball
The Cayman Islands Softball Association is looking for umpiresand scorekeepers for the upcoming 2001 Softball Season, to officiatethe men's and women co-ed league games.
