Going withflow to help Cayman Grow
Dear Sir,
The advantages to Cayman of adopting DaylightSavings Time are abundantly clear.
In addition to the quality of life issueof gaining an extra hour of daylight at the end of each busy day,there is the significant value to tourism and business of synchronisingour clocks to our neighbour to the North year round, not justin the winter months.
Whenever I have asked around about why Caymanhas never moved with the times on this issue, the stock answeris "That's the way it has always been".
I'm sorry, that is not a good enough answeranymore. Cayman cannot afford to ignore any opportunity to makeour economy more competitive, especially when this opportunitycomes at nil cost.
Perhaps I'm missing something here, maybethere is a good reason to continue to ignore the rest of the worldon this issue, but I challenge someone to come forward and statethe reason, or if not, to make this change now!
