Vibe 98.9 FM now has on board Mr GilbertNicoletta as its newsperson responsible for keeping the publicinformed.
When this radio station was launched on30 November, 2001, it pledged to focus on the community and ina recent release indicated that Mr Nicoletta is the man for thatjob.
Mr. Nicoletta is a Caymanian with ties toEast End, Breakers, George Town and West Bay, and the companysaid this makes him an excellent correspondent for local news.He has held positions at the Nor'wester, The Caymanian Compassand C.I.T.N. and is now a very welcome addition to the staff ofVibe 98.9 FM.
Gilbert Nicoletta has a penchant for newsand over 20 years of experience in media. He spent 10 of thoseyears in New York, during which time he wrote for 15 differentmagazines worldwide.
