C&W First Class Prices& Third World Service
Dear Sir:
I would like to voice my opinion on therecent changes Cable & Wireless made in regard to cellularphones. For sure it will not benefit all customers or C&W.Is this going to help the already over inflated cost of Telecommunicationsservices in the Cayman Islands?
I must say here that C&W have trippedover their own feet again with another deal that will continueto cause havoc and dissatisfaction from the general public whocompulsory have to patronise their monopoly which seems to besafeguarded until 2011, I wonder how much worse can C&W doand continue to say they are helping me and you.
With businesses and hospitals barring theirfixed lines and staff from calling cellular phones from the workplacein the twenty first century is bad news trust me, one thing forsure C&W will have lots of work barring fix lines and thatis not good news for the shareholders or customers, I have towonder did C&W considered that this is a dangerous and unfairmove we are really going backward now for sure and alsojustifyingthe term that some say we are, a third world country.
Seems that our government leaders are facinga crunch with the monopoly bunch with no real solutions in sightwe will have to stand up and fight for what is right.
After reading the headline on the frontpage of another newspaper titled. "C&W to defend monopolystatus" - it seems to render some relief in sight becauseif government allows C&W to continue the monopoly until 2011a lot of customers would end up in hell instead of heaven.
