Led by opening batsmen Ricardo Roach, whomade 17 runs, and William Quin, who made 14, Cayman Islands drewfirst blood in the Western Caribbean Classic Under-15 CricketChampionships at the Smith Road Oval when they scored 80 for twoin reply to the Bahamas' 79 for seven off 40 overs Saturday.

In addition to top-scoring for Cayman inthe batting, Ricardo earlier led the bowlers by taking four wicketsfor 15 runs in eight overs. Batting for the Bahamas Marlon Burrellscored 29 runs, Three teams, Cayman, the Bahamas, and Bermudaare playing in this competition which runs until Wednesday, 25July.
Sunday Bermuda scored 242 and bowled out Bahamas for 26 runs.
