Naya Sporting Hosting AnotherSoccer Camp
Naya Sporting will be holding a soccer campfor one week at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex. This year'scamp will run from 6-10 August from 9:00 am to 3:00pm and is openfor both girls and boys ages 6 15 ages of age.
Once again, Everton "Sarge" Edwards who will be assistedby seven top North American college coaches will direct this year'scamp.
John O'Rourke a former semi-pro player inNorth America and Ireland, he is currently an assistant men'scoach DeSales University and the holder of F.A.I (Irish) B licenseand a U.S.S.F.C license.
Joe Massi coaches at a professional levelwith the Miami Fussion, Miami Freedom, and the Ft. LauderdaleStrikers, he previously spent 15 years at the Florida InternationalUniversity as assistant head coach.
Rebecca Utter is the head coach at WestinHigh School in Ft. Lauderdale; She was awarded the Miami Heraldhead coach of the year. She played collegiate goalkeeper at OneontaState, she is a NSCAA licensed coach.
Manny Soutullo is presently the head coachof the Miami Southridge Senior High School and goalkeeper coachfor St. Thomas University. He is a member of NSCAA ad played collegiateat MDCC-South, Alabama and Birmingham.
Ricky Zambra is the head coach at St. ThomasUniversity with an overall record of 41-18-2. He is USSF B license,NSCAA, LASKA member, and a USSF minority program scout, RolinDufrene a former US national team player also played for Statede Reims French division II, Paris F.C. France division III, Olympicde Luce France III division, and The Dallas Sidekicks of the MISL.
Sue Moy Chin is the assistant coachat Duke University. She was previously the assistant coach atNotre Dame, and Florida International University a standoutgoalkeeper at Florida International University. She earned All-Americanhonours and was a three-year captain of the squad. She set boththe seasons and career record of the shutouts with tallies ofseven and twenty respectively, and is the holder of a bachelor'sdegree in physiotherapy.
This years camp will focus on promotingwomen's soccer by encouraging as many young ladies as possibleto attend the camp, and an evening programme will be held forthe ladies from 5:30 to 8:00pm. This will be an excellent opportunityfor the women to improve their technical skills, and possiblyhave a chance to be apart of the team to play the Florida InternationalWomen's team while they are in Grand Cayman for the training campin August.
The cost of the camp will be forty dollars,which includes lunch each day.
