Mrs. CindyScotland

Mrs. Cindy Scotland, General Manager ofthe Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) has assumed the interimpost of Managing Director following the return of Mrs. JenniferDilbert to London to resume her role as the Cayman Islands' Governmentrepresentative in the UK.

Mrs. Scotland has worked within the financialenvironment for over 11 years. Her career commenced at the CurrencyBoard in 1991 where she served as Currency Board Manager from1993-1996. Mrs. Scotland was Head of Currency Operations uponthe establishment of CIMA in January 1997, and was subsequentlypromoted to General Manager in July 1997.

As General Manager her responsibilitiesincluded Currency Operations, Finance, Information System &Human Resources. Mrs. Scotland in her role as General Managerhas over the years acted for the Managing Director on variousoccasions and has been actively involved in the regulatory workof the Authority.

Mrs. Scotland has been a key player in thecontinuous development of the Monetary Authority since its inauguration.
