Camps Offer Fun in the Summertime
Arts and crafts, drama, sports and fieldtrips are available for children whose parents sign them up forsummer camps organised by the Community Development Unit of theDepartment of Social Services.
Camps will be held in all districts andare geared toward children age five years to16 years, with allactivities supervised and structured. Camp hours are 8 a.m. to5:30 p.m. The schedule is:
· Cayman Brac 29 July through 8 August, Cayman BracHigh School;
· West Bay 5 16 August, John A. Cumber PrimarySchool;
· George Town 5 16 August, George Town PrimarySchool;
· Bodden Town 5-9 August, Bodden Town Primary School,and 12 16 August, football camp held at the Bodden TownCivic Centre.
Registrations for these four camps are nowbeing accepted at the Department of Social Services, located onthe second floor of the Tower Building. The phone number is 949-0290.
For North Side and East End, the camp isset for 29 July 16 August at the Frank Sound Church of God.To register for this camp, please call the church on 916-0795or 947-3691.
Children may attend a full camp session,or register for individual weeks. The cost is:
