Mr. Bush wasright in not signing
Dear Sir,
Congratulations and applause for the Hon.McKeeva Bush who refused to sign the EU Savings Directive thrustin front of him by the UK Paymaster General (Cayman Net News July26, 02).
It is said that talks are to continue, butwhen all has been said Cayman should refuse to sign any agreement,which will help to destroy its economy in order to increase thetax revenue of other countries.
Now that Mr. Bush has taken the first stepand shown that he will not be pushed around by an organisationfrom which we receive nothing, he should now initiate steps tocancel any agreements that Cayman may have signed with the OECD.
