Setting a Grand New CorporateStandard for Cayman
The constructionof the first of three five-story office buildings planned forthe new Cayman Corporate Centre is nearly complete. The impressivenew office complex is located on Hospital Road near the GovernmentAdministration building in downtown George Town. When completed, the five-acre Corporate Centre will consist of three office buildingsand a large parking area, and will, according to the developers, set a new standard in Grand Cayman.
Each of the five floors in the stately new office building hasapproximately 8500 square feet of usable office space. Each flooris laid out in a modular, column-free fashion, thus allowing theone to four corporate occupants per floor with maximum flexibilityfor interior floor plan arrangements.
The exterior construction of the building is made up of reinforcedconcrete and is designed to the most recent hurricane and earthquakecodes and standards. The interior design, elegantly finished withbronze, tile, and granite, includes two elevators, convenientlylocated washrooms and water fountains, an elegant lobby area, and multiple access points for easy telecommunications and electricalinstallations.
The developers of the project are the combined team of BuccaneerHoldings Ltd., owned by Ken and Gailya Hall, and Ellesmere BritanniaLtd. The Halls are involved in several property and business venturesin Grand Cayman; they own and operate Cayman Distributors Ltd.,Cayman Business machines (Xerox), and Cayman Data Systems (IBM).
Ellesmere Britannia Ltd. has more than 10 years experience inGrand Cayman and is responsible for the development of the Villageof Britannia, a beach, villas, and golf resort on Seven Mile Beachthat is operated by Hyatt on their behalf.
Together, these two developing companies have created a businesscomplex that, when completed, will represent the new standardin Cayman's corporate landscape. Built on the site once occupiedby Triple C school, the Corporate Centre is conveniently locatedclose to the Government offices, the Police Station, and the GeorgeTown post office, as well as many major banks and brokerage, insurance, and law firms.
Many of George Town's other attractions, restaurants, and retailshops are also located nearby. These other elements of GeorgeTown's skyline, however, are dwarfed by the majestic new officebuilding, which is now visible from nearly every part of the city.
For any business that wishes to operate in George Town andat the same time provide their employees and staff with the mostmodern, comfortable, and convenient office and parking facilities, the Cayman Corporate Centre is the ideal location.
