Chamber OneDay 'Project Management' Workshop
The Cayman Islands Chamberof Commerce Professional Development and Training Centre has incorporatednumerous suggestions from the previous years' participants indeveloping the 2002 Programme. As a result of requests from employersand their employees, the Training Centre is pleased to be offeringa new one-day workshop entitled "Project Management"on Wednesday, June 26 with expert management consultant and trainingfacilitator, Mr. Rod Waddell.
The aim of this seminaris to provide delegates with the tools and techniques needed toeffectively manage the projects that they have been assigned ensuringa quality result, on time and within budget. Participants willlearn the theory and practice of conceptual mapping, team selectionand responsibility matrix, network process charting and the projectbar chart. Issues involving communication skills, meeting managementand overcoming resistance will be explored in this interactiveworkshop. Team member accountability issues and achievement ratingwill also be addressed using case study, handouts and discussion.
Technical, professionaland managerial staff who have responsibility for managing projectsor leading project teams should attend this course.
"Project Management"will be held from 9:00 am until 4:30 p.m. at the Macdonald Squareoffices of the Chamber of Commerce. The cost of the workshop isCI$100 for Chamber members and CI$175 for Non-members.
