Shaun Fraser
Shaun Fraser established himself (again)as one of Cayman's finest male swimmers by being the first Caymanianto cross the finish line in the Flowers One Mile Swim. Shaun isjust 14 years old, but has seven years experience swimming underswim coach David Kelshiemer. And, having won three medals thispast year he is now a Carfta Games Veteran.
Shaun is one of four youngsters who willtravel to England to participate in the British Age Nationalsbeing held from Aug. 5 to Aug. 9, where he will compete in themiddle-distance freestyle and butterfly events. In preparationfor the major junior competition, Shaun's training has increaseddramatically, and Kelshiemer said Shaun is responding well inhis first season of complete double workouts.
With the ever-constant support he receivesfrom his family, coupled with the confidence in his ability thathis coaches express, Shaun Fraser looks to be a driving forcein international swimming.
