Rescheduled Dates WestEnd Post Office
Due to the rescheduling of the officialopening of the new West End Post Office and Mail Processing Centreto 6 July, customers are asked to note the following consequentialchanges in dates:
The existing West End Post Office will nowclose its doors at 10:00 am on Friday, 5 July in preparation forthe move to the new facility.
Post box renters at the present West EndPost Office can check their post boxes for mail until Saturdaynight, 6 July.
However, the Postmaster General, Ms MonaBanks-Jackson asks that customers collect parcels and generaldelivery mail by 10:00 am on Friday, 5 July to enable a smoothtransition.
Application forms for rental of a post boxmay now be collected from the current West End Post Office andStake Bay Post Office until the close of business on Thursday,4 June or at the new post office beginning on Monday, 8 July.
The Postmaster General apologies for anyinconvenience that may be encountered during the transition. MsBanks-Jackson also extends an invitation to the official openingof the new post office Saturday, 6 July.
