Ten of the 15 honourees announced in lastyear's Queen's Birthday Honours and the 2001 New Year's Honourslist, received their medals at an investiture ceremony held atthe Government House on Tuesday, 20 March.

Mr. David Wade Foster, witnessed by SirVassel John and Captain Charles Kirkconnell, received the Officerof the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE).

Mr. David Raib Arch and Mr. Louis BernardMoncrieffe received the Member, the Most Excellent Order of theBritish Empire (MBE).

Superintendent Rudolph Lenberg Dixon andDetective Superintendent Kenrick Anthony Hall of the Royal CaymanIslands Police Force were awarded the Colonial Police Medal (CPM).

Certificates and Badges of Honour were presentedto Mr. Floyd McCarney Bush, JP; Mr. Weddie Anthony Conolly, JP;Mrs. Mavis Vernell Clarke; Miss Anita Eloise Ebanks and Mr. OrnonCalvert Whittaker.

His Excellency, the Governor, Mr. PeterSmith welcomed the recipients, their families and supporters tothe ceremony. Hon. Mr. James Ryan, MBE, made the opening remarks.
