New applicationforms for British Citizens
British citizens who are residents in the Cayman Islands are advisedthat the new application forms on which to register as overseasvoters are now available from the Governor's Office.
The forms reflect the recent changes inUK legislation governing the registration of overseas electors.Under the new system, British citizens may register to vote eitherby proxy or by postal ballot. UK nationals can also apply forregistration at any time during the year and the application formcan now be countersigned by any British citizen whether personallyknown to the applicant or not.
