This musical 'Bow the Knee' presented atrue message and meaning of Easter regarding the death and resurrectionof Jesus Christ as seen through the eyes of Anthony, a Roman Centurionwho had many encounters with Jesus. Anthony accompanied by hisservant Eli, witnessed firsthand many of the miracles performedby Jesus which included healing the blind, lame and deaf and theraising from the dead of a young child and the healing of hisown beloved servant Benjamin.
The play depicts Jesus going through theland healing the sick and oppressed and preaching the Gospel tohis followers until his betrayal by Judas Iscariot and his arrestin the Garden of Gethsemane. He is then brought before Pilate'scourt and questioned and the same persons whom he had healed andministered to cried out for Him to be crucified.

Upon seeing Jesus hanging from the cross andrealizing that God has sent his only Son to die on the cross forhis sins, Anthony finally breaks down and "Bows the Knee"before Jesus and confessing Him as King of Kings and the Lordof Lords.
The play ends with an earthquake and thestone that sealed the tomb being rolled away and the soldiersrunning in fear and unbelief at the glorious resurrection of Jesusfrom the dead.
