You Must be on the VotersList to vote
Many qualified voters havestill not made arrangements to get their photo Voter RegistrationCard. This is not a requirement to vote. However, it is a an importantdocument that will serve for many years as a preferred form ofidentification
Some qualified voters, are also of the mistaken opinion that theCensus roll that are taken from last October is the same as theVoters Registration process.
It is encumbent on all responsible qualified voters, who haveachieved the age of 18 years (by 30 June 2000) or older, to checkthe Revised Voters List to ensure that their names are on thelist.
