Cayman National Choir Celebrates25 Years
The Cayman National Choir celebrated on16 and 17 May, 25 years of choral singing in the Cayman Islandsat the Harquail Theatre.
The first presentation on Thursday nightwas 'Gloria', by France Joseph Haydn, which was performed by theCayman National Choir.
This was followed by a Chamber Orchestra'sperformance, which was a magnificent orchestral presentation combiningthe sounds of the Violin, Cello, Keyboard, Viola, Percussion,Flute, Clarinet, Oboe, Bassoon, Trumpet, French horn and the Euphonium. It was delightful.
The evening's programme, however, wouldnot have been complete without the Cayman National Children'sChoir. The Cayman Prep and High School Senior Choir, accompaniedby a String Ensemble also added rhythm to this memorable occasion.
Master of Ceremony for the evening was Mr.Peter Kosa, who kept the evening lively by adding a bit of humorduring intervals.
The entire programme was quite enjoyable, with all members of the Choir resplendent in their uniforms.
The Choir, at 25 years, is more than justa group of organized people who come together to sing. They area group of talented and dedicated individuals who offer the bestof themselves to the public.
