Taste of Cayman 2001 gets
support from Foster's

Foster's Food Fair IGA is sponsoring thisyear's Taste of Cayman to support this event, which raises fundsfor the Lighthouse School and other local charities.
The 14th Annual Taste of Cayman weekendextravaganza is set to take place for three days, 30 June, through1 July at Safehaven, along Seven Mile Beach, featuring the raffleof the year for the grand prize a 2001 AUDI TT Roadster.
The organizer of the event, the Cayman TourismAlliance, is in full swing with their preparations for this auspiciousweekend, which features a sampling of different cuisines, liveentertainment, fun for the kids, fireworks, cooking competitionsand the chance to win the 2001 AUDI TT Roadster with raffle ticketscosting $30.
Foster's Food Fair IGA is involved as asponsor through various segments of the event from offeringparticipating restaurants to purchase the key ingredients fortheir 'Taste' menu samples at cost, giving Chili Cook Off contestantsa Meat Voucher, as well as a free kit of Badia Spices to sponsoringthe Tropicana Play Paradise for the younger visitors to the Tasteof Cayman.
According to Foster's Special Projects ManagerLee Maragh: "Foster's and our business partners Badia SpiceCompany and Tropicana are very excited about being part of thisgreat community event, which entertains and benefits so many peoplein the Cayman Islands. We hope that, through our involvement andsupport of the event, more funds for worthy projects such as the"special needs playground" for the Lighthouse Schoolcan be raised."
Foster's is also assisting the event withticket sales available through their supermarkets at The Strand,Foster's Airport Store and Republix Plaza in West Bay.
