At only seventeen yearsof age, the future looks bright for Ronald Forbes. He wants trackand field to take him as far as it can. Do not be mistaken, heis not a dreamer. Actually Ronald is very realistic and that'swhy he is very keen on attending a good University this fall.
He is set to graduate fromJohn Gray High School in a few weeks and many colleges have showninterest in this talented runner and exceptional student, includingLincoln University, Missouri and University of Southern Louisianajust to name a few, where his intention would be study Art andBusiness Management.
Ronald is a 400meter hurdler;this event is one the toughest on the track if not the toughest.His personal best in this event is 54.61 seconds and his goalbefore the end of this track season is to run under 54 seconds." I think I can break 54 if I keep listening to Coach Williams."National coach Kenrick Williams has been working with Ronald nowfor over two years. "Every year he gets better, soon he willget to where we all want him to be."
Ronald appears to have asteady balance between school and track and field, and said hisgoal for the future is just like that of any other athlete. Hewants to compete on a big platform and continue to represent hiscountry." My favorite athlete is Michael Johnson, he is greatathlete, the best in my mind."
Ronald traveled to Tampa,Florida last weekend to compete.
