'Talk Today' has new host
Mr. Joel Francis, thenew host of 'Talk Today'.
Radio Cayman's popular talk show, 'TalkToday', now has a new host.
He is Mr Joel Francis and his appointment took efefct as of Wednesday,November 1st 2000, following the departure of former host, Mr.Val Lichtenstein.
Mr. Francis had hosted the show before on numerous occasions inMr. Lichtenstein's absence, and has been with Radio Cayman forthe past four years as a News Editor/On Air News Presenter andSports Commentator.
'Talk Today' was established to encourage the people of the CaymanIslands to share their views, questions, comments and concernsabout issues they face.
Mr. Francis particularly encourages youths to participate in theshow, which airs Tuesdays through Thursdays from 12:15pm on RadioCayman One (89.9FM and 93.9FM).
Over the past three years, the community has embraced the programby sharing information and asking questions about issues thataffect everyday life in our society.
Mr. Francis was born in St. Vincent and the Grenadines but hasbeen a resident of the Cayman Islands since he was 13. He completedhis secondary education in 1982 at Cayman Islands High Schoolbefore going on to the University of the West Indies (UWI), wherehe gained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.
He is married and has three children.
