Mrs. M. Theresa Lewis Pitcairn
Cayman's natural growth and rapid developmentover the last three decades is not only measured quantitaivelyin economic indicators and real estate, but qualitatively in therise of a new breed of educated, progressive Caymanian professionalswho are concerned about the future of their islands and theirplace within it.
On the eve of this election, Theresa Lewis Pitcairn, an activerepresentative of this rank, speaks out forcefully in a letterto the editor, entreating all Caymanians to use the power theyhave and to go out and vote.
Mrs. Lewis Pitcairn is an attorney-at-law at the firm of Maplesand Calder. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Sciencefrom York University, Canada, and the LLB (Hons.) from the Universityof Bristol.
She is Vice president of the Caymanian Bar Association and currentlyserves on a number of Government boards.
