Tim Adam was born 1st May, 1955 in St. Andrew,Jamaica, and was raised and educated in the Cayman Islands.
He graduated from Florida InternationalUniversity in 1988 and carries the title of Professional Engineer.
He plays an active role in various communityorganizations in the Cayman Islands and is distinguished as theHonorary Director of the Young Caymanian Leadership Foundation,the Founding Member and President of the Young Caymanian BusinessmenAssociation and the Founding Life Member of the Cayman MaritimeHeritage Foundation.
His professional career began in 1973 asa Trainee Technician at Cable & Wireless Cayman Islands andwas further educated in the Cable & Wireless Engineering Collegein the United Kingdom.
He continued to work for Cable & Wireless,taking on various positions including Assistant Engineer RecordSystems and Supervisor of Sales and Service. In May, 1996, hewas promoted to the top management position in Anguilla. In January,1998, he returned to Grand Cayman as the General Manager for Cable& Wireless Cayman Islands, a role which he continues to holdtoday.
He is the proud father of three sons. Heis married to Tonya (nee Burch), and his hobbies include boating,scuba diving and aviation.
As to his future, Mr Adam expressed a sinceredesire to seek God's will.
