Business &Professional Club Take Over the Links at Britannia Golf Club
Women of all skill levels will be takingover the links on Friday afternoon, 30 November, at BritanniaGolf Club to support a good cause.
All interested women are invited to participatein the 3rd Annual Women's Golf Scramble organized by the Business& Professional Women's Club of the Cayman Islands.
Once again the CIBC Bank and Trust Company(Cayman) Limited is the event's major sponsor.
"In addition to having a great afternoonplaying golf with women who could be first-time golfers or thebest female golfers on the Island, all the women who participatein the Scramble.
They can feel good that all proceeds fromthe event will be used to fund BPW's charitable projects",stated Andrea Williams, BPW Scramble Coordinator.
The Scramble will take place within theBusiness & Professional Women's Club's 16 Days of Activismagainst Gender Abuse programme.
This year's campaign will focus on abuseof the elderly.
Other projects in which the Business &Professional Women's Club are involved include the Silent WitnessMarch for victims of domestic violence, Legal Befrienders to assistwomen needing legal advice and educational scholarships for women.
Cost per player will be CI$100, which costcovers green fees, cart rental, club rentals and buffet dinner.
