From the time Belizean/American Marion Jonestouched down at the Owen Roberts International Airport on theafternoon of Wednesday, 14 November, to her departure Sunday thisOlympic and World sprint queen treated Cayman with her grace whileenjoying the country's hospitality.

She inspired the children with a talk atthe Agape Family Worship Centre when she recalled behaving likea tomboy and how watching an Olympic event changed her foreverafter seeing the expressions of athletes as they crossed the finishline. "I decided then that I am going to be successful inwhat ever I did," she said to the students.

Marion then touched the hearts of all atthe Westin Hotel with an emotional presentation during a fund-raisingdinner and auction held in her name, when spikes taken from herrunning shoes were sold for a thousand dollars.

This crowd pleaser the next day broughtout hundreds of the very young and not so young for the MarionMile.
