World AIDSDay to be Commemorated on 1 December
Do we care about each other, including personswho have HIV or AIDS, in the Cayman Islands?
I Care Do You? is the theme for WorldAIDS Day, commemorated globally on 1 December. The Public HealthServices and the Cayman Islands AIDS Foundation are organisinga week's worth of activities to promote awareness of the diseaseand compassion for those who are infected, said Medical Officerof Health, Dr. Kiran Kumar.
"Accurate information about HIV andAIDS will also help persons affected by the disease to receivefair treatment in families, the community and workplaces,"he added.
