Anti-CaymanJobs Being Published So What's New?

Dear Sir,

In your Issue #127 of 15 November 2001,there is an article concerning giving Caymanians priority forjobs being advertised.

A statement was made that it is believedthat many of the job advertisements are worded so as to make itimpossible for a Caymanian to qualify. To this I would say "Sowhat else is new?"

Over the years I filed complaints with theImmigration Board concerning this blatant abuse of the CaymanianProtection Laws, and even produced proof to them, only to havethe whole matter covered over and swept under the rug.

It would indeed be a good thing if the presentChairman and her members can stamp out this practice of 'puttingdown' the Caymanians before they are even given a chance.
