Triple C SchoolBeat West Bay Primary in disputed game

Triple C school defeated West Bay PrimarySchool 2-1 in a hotly disputed Group 'A' game last Saturday morningat Triple C ground.

The first half was very evenly contestedand ended at 0-0 with Triple C forward Joe Culbert missing aneasy chance and Paul Michael O'Connor missing a penalty.

In the second half it was West Bay starplayer Lorenze Brown who pushed the ball past Christopher Robertsin the Triple C goal. This brought an outpouring of joy from thelarge contingent of West Bay supporters.

Minutes later Alejandro Ruiz became thehero for Triple C when he shot past James Joseph to tie the score.

West Bay answered with a very controversialgoal of their own. A video replay showed that goalie ChristopherRoberts had the ball in his hands and the on-rushing West Bayplayer touched the goalkeeper before lodging the ball in the net.That goal was dis-allowed.

Then there was the offside goal that AlejandroRuiz scored to give Triple C victory.
Cayman Prep continued to impress when they stopped Savannah Primary5-1 in another Group 'A' game. Prep led 3-1 at half time.

In Group 'B' fixtures West Bay beat TripleC 1-0, Prep beat Savannah 2-0, and North Side beat Bodden Town1-0.
