Cayman's London Office celebrates 20th anniversary

The Cayman Islands Government Office in London celebrated its 20th Anniversary at its Annual Recep- tion on Wednesday November 20.
The host Mrs. Jennifer Dilbert, Cayman Islands Representative in London, was pleased to welcome the Governor, Mr. Bruce Dinwiddy and his wife Emma as guests of honour. Among the 120 guests were representatives of the financial services industry, politics, tourism and members of the Cayman Islands All-Party Group.
Mr. Dinwiddy gave guests a short history of the London Office and paid special tribute to former Governor Mr. Thomas Russell CMG CBE, who founded the London Office and served as Representative for 18 years. Mr. Russell was presented with a gift by Deputy Representative Ms. Mary Chandler-Allen in recognition of his years of service.
Former Governors Mr. Michael Gore CVO CBE and Mr. John Owen CMG MBE were also in attendance, together with former Chief Justice Mr. George Harre.
