West Bay Primary and Catholic Schools Win

In a top of the table Pee Wee clash soccer clash last Saturday morning the West Bay Primary School surprised the previously unbeaten Bodden Town primary 'A' team 3-0 at the West Bay playing field.

The West Bay goalkeeper had things quite easy in the first half. It was brilliant goal keeping from Bodden Town primary that kept them in the game and a score line of 0-0 at the end of the first half.

Bodden Town goalie Luigi Hernandez was accidentally injured by a West Bay player and was unable to continue in the game.

His replacement was Joshua McFarlane who plays on the 'B' team. This opened the gate for the West Bay primary to take advantage of the situation. First, it was Brian Parchment put his side in the lead.

The very potent James Ebanks then added two goals to his team score line that put them 3-0 ahead of the very fancied Bodden town line up.

In another key game for first place, Catholic School brushed aside the challenge of Triple C School 3-0 at the Triple C playing field. Catholic had things pretty much their way for the first half.

Triple C only shot at the goal in the first half came from Shehzad Hafiz.

It was a sizzling hot shot that goalkeeper Jordan Forbes had to hold onto after a second attempt.

Mark Evans in the Triple C goal came under some testing times from Olin Montith and Fabio Gail for Catholic. Brilliant saves from Evans kept his side in the game.

Catholic Jordan Cacho was able to slip the ball pass Evans to leave his side with a 1-0 lead at the end of the first half.

In the second half the very busy Fabio Gail made it 2-0 for his team. The goal of the game came from Olin Monteith who chipped the ball over the Triple C goalie head o end the game 3-0.
