Into De Groove

New music is now out and about this week, all in time for the Holiday Season.
Looking for some safe stocking stuffers, well let me give you a hand with that.
"Tim McGraw and the Dancehall Doctors" is due out this week from Curb.
McGraw says the album brought out the honesty in the way he sings. Of course he credits his band for making it happen. Time and time again he has been referred to as Mrs. Faith Hill.
Tim McGraw no longer has to hang onto his wifey's skirt tail. He is now making waves of his own.
Joining Tim on this album are Kim Carnes (Betty Davis Eyes) who shares the microphone on "Comfort Me" and the Eagles' Don Henley and Timothy B. Schmit on "Illegal".
With the first single "Red Rag Top" creating some controversy over it's reference to abortion, but McGraw says he's a storyteller and it's an honest story.
This one will fit perfectly into any stocking.
Fresh back in the studio from being apart of the Area2 tour with David Bowie and Moby, rapper Busta Rhymes hit the studio to begin recordings for his latest album.
Titled "Genesis" the newest single off Clive Davis' J Records album is "It Ain't Safe No More", and it hits the airwaves this week.
His new CD is aptly titled, as it is a new beginning for Busta who severed ties with former record label Elektra Records.
Since 1990 Busta Rhymes has been going at it hard, sporting seven CD's under his belt. In addition to his musical career, Busta has branched out like most have done in the past few years onto the silver screen.
Busta has appeared in Shaft, Halloween 8, Higher Learning and to top it off a commercial for Mountain Dew.
Rhymes admits that he loves the album considering he hasn't loved an album in a long time.
And lastly, don't forget to add Barbra Streisand. Is she retired or not? I am just as confused as most. Well, here she is again with a new album entitled "Duets".
This album reflects on the legendary artist's history of vocal collaboration. "Duets" features artist like Kim Carnes on "Make No Mistake, He's Mine" together with the Ray Charles on "Crying Time".
In addition Streisand has added some old favorites such as "You Don't Bring Me Flowers" with Neil Diamond, "I won't Be The Last To Let Go" with Barry Mannilow and "Guilty" with Barry Gibb.
All in all, it is a time capsule of Barbara's best collection of duets. Maybe Barbara fans can treat themselves to something extra this season "Duets".
Don't forget to drop by your local music stores and check out this week's latest movers and shakers in the music world.
