Tortuga Wins Best Booth Awardat Expo 2000

Tortuga Rum Company Ltd.'sfully operational mini Rum Cake bakery and the elaborate displayof Tortugae products, claimed first prize for "Best Booth"at the recent Chamber of Commerce Business Expo held at the LionsCentre. This marks the second 1st prize win for Tortuga Rum Company,the last being in 1998.

Expo visitors watched Tortuga Rum Companybakery staff, prepare and offer for sampling, more than 3,000mini-size Tortuga Rum Cakes during the two-day event. Tortuga'sinnovative 200-square foot display was a surprise hit of thisyear's Business Expo, which featured 87 exhibits. The booth showcasedthe expansive line of tortuga rums along with the ever-growingTortuga private label gourmet products. Visitors were offeredcomplementary samples of Tortuga Caribbean Rum Punch mix and manyvarieties of Tortuga Rum Cakes.

Chamber President, Mr. David Foster, presented Tortuga's ManagingDirector Mr. Robert Hamaty, with the Best Booth award.
