Classic Women's Soccer Tournament

Starting Monday, 9 October, soccer fansin the Cayman Islands are in for a treat of exciting matches,featuring four teams from overseas and Cayman's own Scholars InternationalSports Club Women's Team.

All the teams have now been confirmed and the clashes will takeplace at the Ed Bush field in West Bay. There will be two matcheseach evening, at 6:30 and 8:00 pm.

The Jamaican team is now in its finals, and will include fiveof their national players. Each of the teams, from Guatemala,Jamaica, Mexico, the USA and Cayman will have some players whohave been representatives at the national level for their respectivecountries.

This Scholars Women's Classic Soccer Tournament came about asa result of the Club's participation in a similar event in Houston,Texas last year.
