Netballers return from Florida
The Cayman All-Stars netball team turnedin a strong showing in a recent tournament in Fort Lauderdale.
Competing against a field of three other Caribbean teams, as wellas three from the United States, Cayman's representatives compileda 4 win, 2 loss record to finish in third place behind Grenadaand Jamaica. St. Kitts also participate.
Under the tutelage of coach Eddie Solomon, outstanding performanceswere turned in by Topaz General, Randine Young, and ChristineWatler. These girls were named to the Caribbean All-Star squadwhich battled in an exhibition match against a U.S. contingent.
