Deloitte andTouche Increases Human Resources Capacity

Owing to the growth of Deloitte &Touche, and the importance which the organization continues toplace on the retention and development of its human capital, theday to day human resource support role now falls in the handsof Mr. Ezzard Miller, newly appointed Manger of Human Resources& Training.

A company release said that during the past year the firm hasalso seen growth in its external client service practice, andthus the decision to hire Mr. Miller will allow Mr. Mario Ebanksto focus on external client service matters such as ExecutiveRecruitment & Human Capital Advisory Services. Mr. Miller'srole will include a host of internal human resource functions,including recruitment, performance management, and professionaldevelopment, for the over 120 staff currently employed with Deloitte& Touche.

He will report to Mr. Taron Jackman, Director of Operations, andwill be assisted by Marcia Foster.

As previously mentioned, Mr. Ebanks, who has carried out boththe internal and external functions for the past 3 years as aSenior Consultant, will now focus primarily on external clientservice, in the areas of Executive Recruitment and Human CapitalAdvisory Services, as well as Marketing Services and Communications.Working with regional and global client service teams, the HumanCapital Advisory Services department of the Cayman Islands practiceoffers a host of services including: Executive Search, Recruitmentand Relocation; human resource strategies, (including retentionand succession planning); legislative compliance (including immigrationservices and the development of Business Staffing Plans); andpayroll and benefits administration. Mr. Ebanks will continueto be assisted by Nicole Chin, and the department will also workclosely with the Management Solutions department in a multi-disciplinaryapproach.
