Triple C andCatholic Clash in Pee Wee League Soccer Opener

Kyle Thompson got the ball and shot it past the goal keeper inthe first game of the beginners 'B' teams as the Catholic upsetdefending champions Triple 'C' when the Inter-Primary and PrivateSchools Pee Wee league started Saturday, 13 October.

In the 'A' division it was a different story as Triple 'C' ledCatholic 3-0 at the end of the first half to eventually come awaywinners 5-2 when the final whistle blew.

National Technical Director, Marcio Maximo, who was on hand towatch the games said, "I am looking for 70 young playersat the end of the Pee Wee league. At the end of the League wewill continue to coach these 70 players. This league is very importantto our football programme. Without this league we have nothingfor the future".
