National Dayof Prayer and Thanksgiving at the Assembly

The Cayman Ministers' Associationwill be hosting the 9th Annual National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving,to be held at the Legislative Assembly Building on Wednesday,31 October, from 12.00 noon to 1:00 p.m.

In the past this observance has been attended by the Governor,other members of the House of Assembly and the general public.
The public is strongly urged to attend to join in prayer in thistime of worldwide uncertainty. We also need to thank God for Hismercy in protecting our Islands from natural disasters and perilsof all sorts, ministers said.

Music will be provided by the band of the Cayman Prep & HighSchool Ensemble.

In addition to the above event, there will be a Service of Healingand Reconciliation. This service was prompted by the need of prayerfor mankind to be reconciled to God throughout the world; andfor reconciliation among and within the nations, across ethnicgroups, between churches and between individuals who are in conflict.

Encouraged by signs of the Lord's healing already experienced,the ministers present will offer prayer, laying on of hands andanointing for those who come forward for healing.

This joint service of Healing and Reconciliation will be heldat the New Testament Church of God on North Sound Road at 7.30p.m.
