Kiwanis ClubContinues Popular Biking Tradition


The Kiwanis Club of Grand Caymanrecently continued a tradition started 20 years ago with the mostpopular biking event of the year. Held annually in October, Kiwani­Bikeroutinely attracts a wide cross section of the local communitywho pedal 20 miles on a Saturday morning.

The event earlier this month began 7am at the Blow Holes and wenton along the South Coast of Grand Cayman with riders enjoyingthe south-easterly Trade Winds on their backs. Key club membersfrom the George Hicks High School and Triple C assisted the riderswith several water stations along the route. The tour ended atSmith Cove Public Beach with refreshments, spot prizes and a swimfor some.
